  1. We need to think of our natural resources not as something that turns into money, but as resources that serve us in their natural state. Trees shelter and serve us, as the infographic shows – and they are beautiful!

    1. Exactly! The indigenous peoples of North America revered all of Nature – even inanimate objects. So they practiced conservation as a way of life. The superior-minded European invaders called them backward savages. That kind of arrogance has placed us all in the present predicament. Now, who’s the savage? Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, JoAnn!

    1. In many ways, deforestation is just one, we are doing incredible damage to the planet all in the name of profits and rampant consumerism that drives the corporations. Ultimately, we are the consumers. If we don’t begin to act responsibly, then how can we hold big business responsible? Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Kim!
