I'm a retired History teacher (35 years), husband, father of three, grandfather of three. My wife, Anne, and I became business partners in December, 2013, and launched our own publishing company, Fiora Books (http://fiorabooks.com), to publish my books. We have been married since 1973 and hope our joint business venture will be as successful as our marriage.

    1. Wow, 5 dogs! I have a tiny Maltese Terrier with a beautiful tail that curls upon her back when she’s happy. When guilty about doing her business in restricted zones, she slinks around, eyes lowered, tail straight and hanging down between her hind legs. She’s a riot!

      1. The naughty thing my dogs do most often is dig deep holes in the garden, mostly looking for moles, but they sometimes get carried away and continue digging in flowerbeds uprooting my plants. They come into the house, noses and paws covered in dirt, but like your dogs – slinking around and eyeing me full of shame!

        1. Into the laundry tub with them! About 10 years ago, I covered all of my flower beds with thick landscaping fabric and covered that with red stones. Each spring I buy potted flowers and set the plastic pots on top of the stones. Eventually, you can’t see the pots and everything looks lovely – including my dog’s paws!
